First, you should make sure you are eligible to file for divorce in Arizona. You and your spouse need to have lived in Arizona for at least 90 days prior to filing and if you have children, they need to have lived in Arizona for at least six months (or since birth, if they’re younger than six months), in order for the court to address custody issues.

• Age: you are of an age that will make it difficult to undergo training or gain employment.
